Frequently Asked Questions

Ensuring precise impressions or intraoral scans is vital for the perfect fit of aligners. It is imperative that PVS impressions or intra-oral scans are flawless, devoid of voids, and encompass all teeth, extending to the gingival margins of the last tooth.

Lineup Aligner is versatile and can effectively treat a range of malocclusions, including crowding, spacing, deep bite, crossbite, open bite, as well as class II and class III malocclusions. It can also address severe skeletal discrepancies by either camouflaging them, focusing solely on teeth alignment, or preparing the case for surgical intervention.

For a Lineup Aligner case, it is preferred to submit PVS impressions or intraoral scans along with a bite registry, extra/intraoral photos, and a panoramic x-ray.

Both intraoral scans and PVS impressions are accepted by Lineup Aligner and are equally accurate. However, intraoral scans are often preferred due to their ease of capture, patient comfort, and faster transfer process.

Yes, it is necessary to submit records for both arches. This helps confirm the patient's bite and ensures a treatment plan that results in a stable bite at the conclusion of the treatment.

You will receive dedicated support from our clinical team through clinical support calls and personalized training sessions. We offer onboarding calls at the beginning of your Lineup Aligner journey, a comprehensive certification course, and guidance on submitting your first case.

Lineup Aligner packages include additional refinement steps if improvements are needed after the patient completes their treatment. Refinements are common, as individual responses to orthodontic movements can vary.

Treatment auxiliaries like elastics and TADs can be included in the treatment setup upon request. However, our treatment planning team generally advises adding them whenever necessary to enhance the predictability of the treatment outcomes.
